Maxim V. Kozlov was appointed to the position of the Chairman of the Board of Directors in June, 2016. He is responsible for the enforcement of decisions of the Board of Directors, general management of the company, as well as for the development and implementation of strategic programs aimed at development of ENNOVA.

Since 1999, prior to joining COTES (ENNOVA since March 2019), he held various positions in different business units of RAO UES of Russia and its legal successors. Between 2013 and 2016, Mr. Kozlov worked as the Head of the Design Centre in Inter RAO Engineering and was responsible for the development of design competences. He was also involved in the development and implementation of large-scale regional construction programs in the energy sector. Between 2009 and 2013, he held the position of Director for Special Projects at Inter RAO UES and managed joint projects with Rosatom State Corporation for new nuclear power plants construction in Russia and Turkey. Between 2005 and 2009, being the First Deputy Director General of the Energy Research and Development Centre, he was involved in setting up and development of Research and Development Centre of FGC UES. Between 2002 and 2005, Mr. Kozlov held the position of Director for Business Development in Inter RAO and was responsible for the management of sales in the markets of CIS countries and Europe. Between 1999 and 2002, he held the position of Head of Export Department of RAO UES of Russia.
Mr. Kozlov has also worked in foreign companies: between 1993 and 1999, he held various positions in the offices of multinational company ABB Asea Brown Boveri in Moscow and in Sweden working his way up from Business Development Manager to Deputy Director General of ABB Moskabel joint venture.
Maxim Kozlov graduated with honours from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute majoring in High-Voltage Engineering and Electrophysics, and later completed post-graduate studies in Electrophysics of Strong Electric and Magnetic Fields. He holds the degree of a PhD in Engineering. Mr. M. Kozlov has also completed Mini-MBA Courses at the Luigi Bocconi University (Italy, Milan) and Project Management Course at the George Washington University (USA).
